I stopped in mid air as I watched a guy get out of the car and walk in front of the Truck.

“What?” Asked Sandy, as she looked at me after she went searching for her list, which didn’t take long, “What did you say, I wasn’t listening?”

“Oh, that guy right there, do you know who he is? He has been following us since your house.” Looking back I his direction I saw that he was mad, very mad.

With a sigh of despair Sandy looked over at me and said, “Yes, unfortunately. Do you mind if we run into the store and get out of his sight?”

“Not at all, does he bug you?”

“Well, we used to date, but I didn’t like him because he stopped coming to church and so he wasn’t the guy for me. He is still made that I won’t talk to him. He sometimes follows me around trying to get to me. It won’t work though. I am sure glad that you came with me; I don’t know what I would have done. Are you ready? Let’s get going I am not going to talk to him now.”

Jumping out of the car and running to her door before she could open it, I opened it for her. The manly thing to do, right? Then taking her hand we ran into the store, grabbed a cart and hurried. We didn’t see him the whole time we were in the store. Though when we went back out he was there and he was in a worse mood. Even though I didn’t know his mood when we had gone in.

He jumped out in front of us, “Sandy, what are you doing with this guy, I’m supposed to be that guy. Though you seem to forget that and I…”

I cut him off in his sentence. “Excuse me, but we are trying to get through. Sandy has some errands to run.”

What happened next I did not expect at all. He swung a punch at me and knocked me to the ground. He then took Sandy by the hand and looked her in the eyes, glaring at her. I jumped up as quickly as I could. I then swung back at this guy, whoever he was he was stuck up with himself. Hitting him, I grabbed Sandy and we ran to the truck, jumped in and locked the doors. I then started the car, she had left the keys in the car, and we drove off. Once I thought we were fine to stop I pulled into a fast-food parking lot and parked.

“Are you ok?” I asked with concern. She looked quite shaken up and I was my self too. “How did you ever like a guy like that?”

“He didn’t used to be like that, he used to be a great guy, but then he started getting involved in bad things and then I decided I didn’t want to hand out with him, any way I had thought we were just friends. I guess not. I am really sorry I hope he didn’t hurt you. Oh no you are bleeding, here let me help you,” looking under the seat she grabbed a first aid kit. I pulled down the mirror in the truck and looked at myself. I was a sight to see with this huge bruise and cut. Boy was I something and the fight had only lasted like 30 seconds. I must be weak. Now what does Sandy thing of me?

Thanks for reading!

The Story Continued & More

Ok, so I am hoping that my story isn't boring anyone, I mean if it is then I will do something else.  When I get tired I let my mind go and I think of storys of all kinds in my mind and I guess that is what I am kind of doing right now.  Here is the next part of my story...

Around an hour later Sean was sitting in the family history room of the house looking at all the family pictures while he was waiting. He especially was looking at the ones that Sandy was in. She was smiling, and had a shining sensation about her. He didn’t know it but he was captured. He would have to say that he was falling in love with her and he hadn’t even been at her house for a full day. As he was walking around the room he saw a book and picked it up. Once he picked it up he saw the bookshelf full of books kind of like the one he was holding. He opened it up and it was a scrapbook. Sean was intrigued. Sandy had taken a lot of pictures and time and put these scrapbooks together. Sitting down at one of the window seats Sean dug into the book searching for information about Sandy and her family. It was as if he was a stalker.

Sandy came into the room and said, “Well if you are ready we can go… what exactly are you doing?”

“Oh, just fumbling through your books, you know you must be very crafty. Do you take a lot of pictures?”

“Yes, I sometimes do wedding pictures, family pictures and just plain ordinary pictures. It is a fun hobby to get involved in.”

“It looks like that, alright I am ready to go.” Sean said as he closed the book and carefully placed it back where he had found it. “Would you like me to drive to the store?”

“That’s ok, I already have my car started and backed out. Well, lets get going, I don’t know how long it is going to take us to get this list of shopping done.”

Smiling Sean thought, oh I hope it won’t be short, I don’t want this shopping adventure to be short, I want this to last on forever.

Jumping into the passenger seat in the truck Sean stared, four girls owning two trucks was pretty weird. Usually the boys were the ones to own the trucks. Plus this truck wasn’t one of those cheap trucks, and neither was the other one, they were really nice, the kind boys dreamed of having.

“Do you girls like trucks or something? I mean usually girls drive something else.”

“Oh, that is just the way I am, I am not the girly girl all the way, I do like getting dirty and stuff. I just liked this truck when I went car shopping.”

“Hmm, well nice choice, I like this truck.”

Sean sat back deciding to enjoy the ride and start conversations with Sandy, that way he could get her to talk back. He could tell that she wasn’t the type of girl that brought attention to her self. Sandy was more quiet and respectful, that was one thing that he liked about her. As they were pulling into the parking lot of the store Sean realized that they were being followed, a black car had been following them since Sandy’s house.

“Umm, Sandy, do you know who……..

Thanks for reading and findout who is following Sean and Sandy in the next few days.

Outside in the back yard.

Laughter was ringing around as Sean was sitting with Jessica, Amy, and Lauren as he watched Sandy play with the kids on the grass. When he heard the laughter he was startled and looked at the three girls that he was sitting on the back patio with.

“I must have missed something,” he said and the he asked quickly, “Is Sandy always this good with kids and do you think she is busy tonight?”

The three girls looked at him amazed, and they smiled with huge smiles on their faces.

“She is fantastic with kids,” Lauren said, “never have I seen her unhappy to be with kids. About being busy tonight, I don’t think she has anything. I think she was planning on going shopping for a few hours to load up on food and buy some summer stuff. If you want I am sure she will let you go with her.” Was Lauren’s reply along with a little give it a try kind of voice.

“I think I will give it a try,” Sean said, and with that he got up and walked over to Sandy.”

“Oh, this is absolutely wonderful! Do you think there is any hope for them?” Asked Amy with a joyful voice. “I knew I was going to like Sean, and plus the two of them used to play with each other when they were little, so they should know each other a bit. You see it will all work out.”

Jessica and Lauren laughed with happy smiles on there faces. Then the three of them turned to see what was going to happen between Sandy and Sean when he started talking to her. When he reached her he sat down and picked up Sarah. After playing with her for a minuet he looked over at Sandy who was being tickled by Jake, Erin, Kyle and Carson. Well she was more like being attacked but she wasn’t minding it at all, she was just playing along.

Getting the courage to talk up Sean said, “Hey you guys, why don’t you go and play tag for a while and give Sandy a break.” He looked at them as they turned to him, seeming disappointed but giving in, they then ran to the corner of the yard to begin a game. Standing baby Sarah up and giving her a little push Sean looked over at Sandy. “I was told that you are going shopping tonight. Do you mind if I come with you?”

Startled, Sandy looked up and said, “I you would like too, I don’t mind it might be nice to have some company.”

“Ok, great thanks, what time do you want to leave?”

“Why not in an hour, that way we can get everyone settled in and then go.”

“Sounds good to me, I am going to go get freshened up and go do a little more work.” And with that Sean got up and walked into the house with a triumphant look on his face. She might not know this but he was considering this as a date, and it was going to be a wonderful one.

Read next week to see what happens.

“Well I was mostly,” said Tasha, “Kyle was just in some of our classes together.’

“That’s nice,” Sean said.

“Why don’t you both sit down, can I get you anything?” Asked Sandy.

“Oh no we just wanted to come and see you, we haven’t seen you for a while, you haven’t been up to your house lately.”

“No, I haven’t. I guess I have been busy with finishing school up and getting ready for my new job.” Sandy said.

“You have a new job? Congratulations, what are you doing for it?” Asked Tasha.

“I am going to start work pretty soon at a landscaping company designing yards for them. It’s in Salt Lake City, the company’s name is The Scott Anderson Company.”

“You are? That’s my dad’s company!” Exclaimed Sean, “You didn’t tell me that when I came earlier today.”

Right as Sandy opened her mouth to reply the twins came running in the room with pouty faces.

“Aunt Sandy it’s not fair. We were in here first with you and they kicked us out of here. Can’t they leave and we get back to our show?” Asked the twins together.

“Kyle and Carson that was not a very nice thing to say.” Stated Sean with a frown, “I know you two aren’t usually like this.”

“But, Uncle Sean, we were in here with Aunt Sandy first and then they came in here. It’s not fair,” pouted Carson.

“Why don’t you go out and play and then when we are done visiting Aunt Sandy and I can come out and play with you. Is that ok?”

“Yes!” Came the explanation of the two as they were running out of the room.

“Well, I think we’d better get going anyway,” Tasha said as she got up, “We have to get back. It was nice seeing you again Sandy, and nice meeting you Sean. Kyle are you ready to go?”

“Yep, you are right, we’d better get going. Well, talk to you two later.”

The two of them walked out of the door and Sandy and Sean stared at each other.

“What did I say that made you stare at me?” Asked Sandy with a questioning look.

“Sandy, did you know that I came early to also meet a new business person for my dad’s work, but I haven’t picked up the file yet. My dad must have met you. Wow, so I guess you won’t get rid of me easily, I guess we will be seeing each other a lot.”

“I never said I wanted to get rid of you,” replied Sandy slowly. “I think we should get out side and play with Kyle and Carson like we promised.”

“Ya, I guess so,” Sean said as he watched her walk out the door. Why can’t I talk to her in a normal conversation he asked himself? He really liked her and he could tell that he was hoping this family reunion thing would last a very long time. His plan was to get to know her and then when he came down for business stuff then he could maybe go places with her.

Thanks for reading, I know it is dumb, but thanks anyway.

Sunday, May 2, 2010
“Alright, who’s ready for a show?” She said allowed.

“ WE DO!” Was her reply.

“Then let’s get to it. What do you want us to sing?”

They gave her and Lauren a list and the two of them went to work. Sean herd the music and wanted to know where it was coming from. Walking out into the hall he almost ran into Amy.

“Do you know where the music is coming from?” He asked.

“Ya, it’s Sandy and Lauren. They sing all the time. They are actually really good, and the kids love to watch and listen to them sing.”

“Oh, thanks,” Sean said and turned to go back into the library. Looking back he saw that Amy was gone and then he went to the door of the Music room and peeked in through the door. He looked in and was amazed. He couldn’t stop starring at Sandy. She looked so familiar and she……….. He couldn’t describe it. She looked different than other girls, meaning she looked clean and not caught up in the trends of fashion. She looked pure to him. He looked over at his niece and nephews who were smiling as big as ever. Plus the kids loved her to death. They even called her Aunt Sandy, even though there was no family relationship. And back to the familiar part, he was going to have to ask his dad when he got here in a few days. What brought him out of his thoughts was the door bell ringing.

Sighing, he scurried back to the library, not wanting to be caught watching. He then acted like he was doing some work on one of Sandy’s computers that she had in the library/ office. In a way he was doing some work. He worked for his dad’s family company of landscaping. He was trying to put different designs into different files.

Amy came to answer the door so that those in the Music room wouldn’t be disturbed.

“Hi!” Amy said as she answered the door, “Can I help you?”

“Yes, is this Sandy’s house?” Asked a man who was standing with a woman at his side.

“Yes it is,” replied Amy. “Why don’t you come in? She is just in the room off the entry. You can follow me.”

“Thank you,” said the man and woman together.

Being in the library, Sean got up to listen. The man looked about his own age and the woman looked around that too.

“Do you know Sandy?” Asked Amy with a smile, looking towards them to get her reply before she answered the door.

“We both do,” came the reply from the woman this time. “We went to school with her; we were in town and found out where she lived from some old friends. We came by to see how she was doing, we wanted to see her before we left to go back home.”

“That’s nice of you; I’m her cousin, Amy. I live here with her. Well let’s go and get her,” and with that Amy turned opened the door and led the two people in the room. It was perfect timing too, because Sandy and Lauren had just finished a song and the kids were clapping loudly.

“Sandy, you have some visitors,” Amy said getting Sandy’s attention.

Turning around Sandy had a smile on her face.

“Why Tasha and Kyle, this is a surprise,” Sandy said shaking both of there hands. “It’s been a long time, what brings you two here?”

While the two of them where explaining Sean had walked in with baby Sarah in his arms, who was looking very happy. Seeing this, Sandy motioned for him to come over. As he was walking over the other kids had left with Lauren and Amy to go and put some stuff together for lunch.

“Tasha and Kyle, I would like you to meet Sean and Baby Sarah.” Sandy said, taking baby Sarah who was squirming for reach of Sandy.

“It’s nice to meet you Sean,” Kyle said shaking his hand.

“And you too,” Sean said back and also nodding his head to Tasha. “Were you friends with Sandy in school?” Asked Sean as he sat down next to Sandy on the couch, handing Sarah her baby toy that she had been playing with when she had crawled into the library and he was walking out to see what was going on.

“Ok, so what shall we do tonight before your parents get back?” Asked Sandy with a smile.

The twins looked at each other with a smile. Then together they looked up at Sandy. Laughing she looked down at the twins, knowing exactly what the two were thinking. “Alright you two, we can have cinnamon rolls, though we better get them started if you want to have them soon. Ok everyone lets go in the kitchen and wash up to make some cinnamon rolls!”

“Yay!” Came the chorus of replies.

Amy and Lauren laughed, then they looked over at Sandy. “You sure do know how to catch there little hearts.” Amy confessed with a smile, “I’ll take little Sarah, why doesn’t Lauren go and help you?”

“Fine with me,” Sandy said turning to follow the kids into the kitchen.

Twenty minuets later the door bell rings.

Sighing Amy got up from playing with baby Sarah, which she loved to do, Sarah was always so cute and playful. Shaking her head and realizing she needed to open the door she opened it.

“Hi!” came the reply from opening the door, “I’m Sean, my family is holding our family reunion here. My mom sent me a few days early to make the arrangements and set up, practically get ready is all. Are you Sandy?”

“No, I’m her cousin Amy. Though Sandy is here, why don’t you come in and I’ll go get her?”

“Thanks,” came his reply as he walked in the door.

“Yep, ok I’ll be right back just let me go and get her.” Turning she walked into the kitchen quickly where there was some happy faces all around.

“Sandy the doors for you,” Amy said smiling at the four kids sitting at the counter helping finish up the cinnamon rolls to put in the oven.

“Ok, I’m coming,” said Sandy going over to the sink and washing her hands. Finishing she started her way to the front entry, though grabbed a towel to dry her hands on the way.

Realizing that Amy left baby Sarah in the music room she decided to follow.

“Hello, I’m Sandy.”

Looking awestruck it took Sean a minuet to introduce himself. “Hi! I’m Sean.” He said getting up from his kneeling position on the ground. He had been on the ground when Sandy and Amy came in the room, playing with baby Sarah.

“Sorry, I was just playing with Sarah here. Is my sister here right now? I didn’t know that Sarah would be over.”

“Actually, your sister is on a date with her husband right now. My cousins and I are babysitting your nieces and nephews while there gone. So did your whole family come early?”

“No, my mom sent me early to get me out of the house.”

“Well that’s fine with me, um, why don’t we take your things to a room and get you settled in and then you can get to know the place.”

“Sounds good,” Sean said.

Sitting down on the couch in the Music room felt so good. Her legs had been bothering her lately and she knew that she needed to get out and exercise, she had been mad that she wasn’t able to do it last night. After getting Sean settled in, he had asked if he could use there library to do some stuff. Sandy had said that was fine. Now she was sitting in the Music room thinking. A smile came to her face when four of the kids came running in with Lauren. Oh, this was going to be so much fun she said in her mind while laughing. She knew why they were in here. They wanted a show, and there performers were Lauren and herself. This had happened many times when they were over, they would make Lauren and her sing songs and stuff.

Have fun reading!

Even though the four of them lived in a huge house, they still preferred to sleep in the same room. There house was big with five rooms in the basement and 3 on the top floor. They were all very close cousins and loved to do things together.

Walking out the back door, Sandy looked at the beautiful yard that they had put in. The back yard had a beautiful garden with many plants growing. Six different planters through out the yard, all with flowers and bushes. There were 12 trees in the middle of the yard (planted in a circle) and in the middle of the trees was gazebo. The gazebo had a tale on it with some chairs and flower pots all over. There were also two hammocks. Now besides the 12 trees there was n orchard with 150 trees. They had planted apple, peach, cherry and plum trees. There was also, definitely, a lot of grass to run and play on.

If you were in the front yard there would also be much to see. A beautiful walk way up to the front door that had flowers all along the way on both sides. There were also 2 other planters on each side of the front yard. There were 8 trees in the front. Each were in clusters of four (on each side), and in the middle of the trees there was a bench and some more flowers. Plus there was plenty of grass to run on, just like the back yard.

While Sandy was going through all this in her mind Amy had come out and was also looking around.

“It sure is a beautiful yard isn’t it? Asked Amy with some pride in her voice.

“Yes,” said Sandy, breathing in the fresh air. “Alright let’s get to work. You can begin pulling the weeds out and I’ll start mowing the lawn.

They finished cleaning and fixing up the whole yard by the time it was 11:30. Now it was five to 12 and they were just finishing cleaning up.

“Jessica are you ready to go to your party? If you are you can leave any time you want. We’ll finish the guest rooms tomorrow.”

“Yes, I just need to gather my things.”

“Alright. Amy, Lauren, how about we go and hang out in the music room?”

“We’ll be right down!” They called out together.

Sandy sat down at one of the four pianos and began to play. Amy and Lauren came in and Lauren asked, “Well, should we play a duet or something. We could sing that song you’ve been working on.”

“Good idea, ok we will sing it. We’ll each sing a verse and we’ll sing the chorus together.”

Sandy began to sing the intro and Amy began to sing. In the middle of the chorus the door bell rang. They had all been sitting on a piano bench and jumped up and ran to the door at the same time. Sandy reaching the door first opened it.

“Hi Jake and Erin, where’s the rest of your family?”

“There on their way over.” Jake replied.

“Ok, why don’t you two come on in the house. So, guess what we are doing tonight?

“What?” Asked the twins who came in the door way with their parents and little sister.

“Well hello you two!” Sandy said with a smile bending down to give Kyle and Carson, the twins, a hug. “How are my little adventure buddies doing?”

“Good.” They said in unison.

“Sandy, Lauren and Amy, are you sure you are ok doing this?” Mike asked with a smile.

“Of course they are.” Jessica replied walking down the stairs. “Well I’ve got to go to my work party. I’ll be back around five. Oh and I’ll stop at the grocery store and get that list you gave me.”

“Ok, thanks Jess. See you later.” Sandy called as Jessica walked out the door.

“Bye,” called the twins, waving there arms wildly.

“Bye you two.” Jessica called back.

“Mike they will be fine, why would you ever worry about them. Oh by the way Sandy, my mom called and said they might send some on early to help get everything situated.”

“That’s fine with me. Well why don’t you to go well feed them dinner and everything you can even come home later if you want.”

“We’ll think about it, now I want all of you to be well behaved.” Amanda said looking at her children.

“Bye,” her and her husband said together and walked out of the house, closing the door behind them.
